Halloween 2008

Halloween evening in Stapleton proved busy. Towards the beginning of the evening the door bell rang with "trick or treater?" little people in all sorts of costumes. Not being quite sure of the tradition of greeting the visitors, I just started wishing them a "Happy Halloween" and distributing the sweets (all pre-packed). They grabbed the sweets and rushed away (with Parents or older siblings hovering nearby).

Stapleton proves a very popular hunting ground for the "trick or treater" crowd and their support crew. It is a relatively safe neighbourhood, and the pickings are very good! There were some very full bags of lollies by the end of the evening.
I thought about going out to the clubs to see what the adults were up too as I saw in the streets earlier in the day people wearing costumes (Superman wearing a skirt and long blond wig was one). However, there was enough excitement for one day and sleep was a good option!
