Freezing here

Its freezing here (Canada, Alberta, Wainwright) and Barb tells me the winter hasn't really started.  It is of course no surprise to me that it is this cold, but being in a giant refrigerator is rather different for a person from the South Pacific!

Today I went and had my hair cut - at the Army Base as Barb is a good friend of the Barber.  She (the Barber) did a good job!  Thanks Terrial.

After dinner we walked to the Swimming Pool complex for a swim of about 2 km ( 1.24 mile).  This as you'll see if you click on the above link is more than just a swimming pool complex: Ice rinks, theatre, indoor walking track and more.  By the time we arrived I was a little chilled!  It was - 15ºc (= +5ºF - what still plus?).  But a few lengths in the pool and a spa and Sauna made me nice and toasty for the walk back.
