Christmas in Denver

Once again the jolly man in Red and White has visited.  It was not the whitest christmas that was shown on the promotional folders.  Gifts were exchanged and the house was a awash with wrapping paper (readied for recycling). On christmas eve we had a gathering of friends and sat down for a shared dinner, followed by the meanest game of Domino's.  I got the most points (365), which meant I lost!  It was lots of fun.

Tim and Rich had a going away party for me last night: I think there were about 14 people for a meal.  It is really so flattering and honoured to have all these people come to bid me farewell and keen to see me back in Denver, Colorado again.

Denver International Airport (DIA) is busy.  I would have thought everyone would go home tomorrow or later ... but the place has queues of people littered all over the place.  I am traveling on Frontier (a Denver based airline) which is taking me to San Francisco for a 6 hour wait till I catch the plane to Auckland, New Zealand.

The added bonus of waiting in DIA is free internet service at the airport!
